Episode 37 - All the Birds are the Word

This one is seriously fun. We mix up our method for a moment, and encounter two BRAND NEW Action Cards! Paul accidentally gets a bonus movie, we find out Michelle Monaghan’s on-screen husband’s age ranges, we use the same actors and movies but not at all the same lists, and play what Sam says is one of his favorite rounds ever! We can hear you yelling again as our brains stop working during the Match-Cut (before and after) Special Features round (we know it’s painful, but we are still proud of how they turned out), and we finish it off with quick Oscar hot takes and snapshots of our all time favorite movies! 

 

Episode 36 - All The Prime Precipices

It’s Sam against Paul again this week, and we end up talking a lot of our favorites! We count some numerical titles, make noises instead of answering, and talk about Cillian’s uncredited costar. We then climb multiple mountains mentioning Matilda and measuring the mountain of a man, action star, Danny DeVito. We finish up with an impromptu redo on a Special Features round that has us making creative connections from cards.  

Episode 35 - All the Long Island Iron Horses (feat. Mike Ivy)

Here’s a fun fact - we have a guest this week! It’s stand up comedian Mike Ivy from the Fun Fact podcast! Paul hosts this week and Sam and Mike discuss the number of times “Wow”-en Wilson appeared in the Big Apple, Sam throws out game recommendations, and we talk about every kind of Train but the band. The SF round was finally complete after a few thousand takes and some similarly named celebrity replacements.

Episode 34 - All the Intergalactic Ophidians

This week we find our protagonists still locked in battle with the infernal Time Limit. In the course of discussing snake-nadoes, we find out who does a better Sly, and discuss where we could wedge in Walken and Wilson. Round 2 send us to both space and Canada, and Sam apparently forgets basic addition. We take it all the way back to the beginning at the end with an Unkind Rewind “My Guy Was” Special Features round. Pay attention to possibly the best pull ever performed on our podcast -  left in unedited for your listening enjoyment! 

Episode 33 - All the Citizenship Competitions

This week we hearken back to the old episodes and add some new fun features. It’s Sam versus Paul in a game that has us trying to name nationalities (while forgetting some of our favorites), and racing to name racing movies against a newly implemented time limit! We finish up the game with a “Block-Bluster” round where we apparently forget all movies ever, and get lost on our DVD shelves.

We can already hear you yelling at us! 

Episode 32 - All the Toddler Fodder (feat. Phil Wrighthouse)

We have such a good time this week with our friend Phil Wrighthouse! Paul hosts and gets us (look who’s) talking about movie babies, the fellows get philosophical about butts and butt doubles, Sam gets one song per round stuck in his head, we talk Iconic Sorkin Lines in the SF round, and breakfast turns out to actually be the most important meal of the day!

Episode 31 - All the Related Rivals (feat. Phil Carr, Jacob Carr, Sarah Garcia!)

The fam is in the house! Our brothers and sister join us for this week’s game and it is a riot. We get caught in the snow and in Lando’s pronunciation guides, spend several seconds on movies (and actors, and insults) that begin with S, and possibly break our own game! Sarah hosts and we try to outdo each other on her Special Features round, as we find out which sibling celebs have outdone each other on the big screen.

Episode 30 - All the WRASSLIN (Greg Johnson and Adam Speas vs. Kels and Paul)

It’s the first ever HCC tag team no holds barred contest, and it is legendary! Newcomer Greg Johnson and returning champ Adam Speas (Throwback Trivia Takedown) team up to take on the team of title touters, Kels (Brain Ladle) and Paul! 

This week’s game not only keeps everyone laughing, but we find out Kels can do even more voices, Greg is an encyclopedia (seriously!), Adam witnesses Paul get a question right on a podcast, and we find out in the Special Features round which wrestlers have starred alongside award winners. This one is all the way down to the wire, do not miss who takes home the belt!

Episode 29 - All the Kaleidoscopic Cloaks-and-Daggers (feat. Josh Bohmbach)

Paul hosts this week and we have a ton of fun with our guest…who is…whoooo? It’s the one and only Josh Bohmbach (from Benchwarmers Trivia Podcast)!

This episode brings us much joy, as it not only delivers some trademark Bohmbach catchphrases  but also those famous Bohmbach sighs. Diversions and revelations include patronuses (patroni?), Henry Hill movies and how they relate to Josh's hat, and how previous guests perfected strategies that continue to come in handy! Will someone actually be able to set a record with Paul’s “Clackergories” SF round?

The man. The myth. The voice of legend. We are graced by one of the greatest players to ever play the game, Bryan Nash! Sam hosts and Bryan shares with us the secret of his secret weapon, and gives us a glimpse into the impressive library that is his mind, while Paul does the opposite of campaigning for his LLFC title and uses his own mental movie gymnastics to stay alive. With Sam’s SF round on "non-actors" in movies, who will emerge victorious in this clash of champions?
